- Written Test (For Merit): Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in English only. Negative marking of 1/4 marks per wrong answer. NCC bonus marks: 5% for ‘C’ Certificate, 3% for ‘B’, 2% for ‘A’.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying Shortlisting: 6 times vacancies per category based on written merit.
Males: Height 5’6″ min, Chest 32″ (unexpanded)/33.5″ (expanded).
Females: Height 5’2″ min (2″ relaxation for Gorkha/Bot Tribe). - Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying or PST qualifiers: Males: 1600m race in 6.5 min, 20 Pushups. Females: 1000m race in 6.5 min, 4kg Shot Put 14.5 ft (3 attempts). Ex-Servicemen: Age-based relaxations (e.g., 30-40 yrs: 7.5 min race).

Who is eligible to apply?
