Science Subject Eligibility Details
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English from a recognized Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Candidates who have passed a Three-Year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (either in Diploma or in Matriculation/Intermediate if English is not a subject in Diploma) are also eligible.
- Candidates who have passed a Two-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects and 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English are eligible.
Other Then Science Subject Eligibility Details (Arts / Commerce / Any Stream)
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent examination in any stream or subjects from a recognized Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Candidates who have passed a Two-Year Vocational Course from a recognized Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (either in Vocational Course or in Matriculation/Intermediate if English is not a subject) are eligible.

- Female Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.For candidates belonging to North East regions and hilly areas of Uttarakhand, the minimum height is 147 cm.For candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height is 150 cm.
