Indian Airforce Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 Education Qualification

Educational Qualification for Science students:

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
  • OR, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) Must have passed three years Diploma course in with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. from a recognized Polytechnic Institute
  • Or, two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics passed with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Educational qualification in subjects other than science subjects:

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination in any stream or subjects with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  • Or, must have passed two years vocational course from a recognized Board of Education with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

  • Date of Birth Block: Candidate must have been born between 01 July 2005 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
  • Upper Age Limit at the time of Enrolment: If a candidate clears all the stages of the selection process, his/her upper age limit should be 22 years on the date of enrolment.

Phase 1st Online Exam Pattern:

  • Admit cards will be sent to eligible candidates through email.
  • This exam will be of objective type and the questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English) except for the English paper.
  • The total time for Science subjects is 60 minutes (Physics, Maths and English).
  • Total time for subjects other than Science subjects is 45 minutes (English and RAGA).
  • The total time for both is 85 minutes.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Phase-II (Physical and Adaptability Test):

  • Candidates who qualify the online examination will be called for Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
  • PFT-I consists of a 1.6 km run (within 7 minutes for men and 8 minutes for women).
  • The PFT-II consists of push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
  • Candidates who clear the physical test will have to undergo Adaptability Test-I and Adaptability Test-II, which assess their ability to adapt to the IAF environment.

Phase-III (Medical Examination):

  • Candidates who pass the Adaptability Test will be called for Medical Examination.
  • This includes blood tests, urine tests, ECG and other necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Medical fitness will be finally decided by the Medical Board.
