1. From the applications received, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of higher sports achievements.
2. The date, time and venue of the selection trials will be communicated to the shortlisted eligible candidates through email.
3. Candidates will have to appear for trials at the designated centre in which the physical ability of the candidates will be tested. And the height, weight and chest measurement should be as per the standards.
4. The skill of the candidate in the respective sport will be tested.
5. Physical and medical examinations will be conducted at the trials site. If a candidate is declared temporarily unfit, So he can avail the benefit of Specialist Review within 21 days.
6. The merit list of candidates found eligible in all the tests will be prepared based on the available vacancies.
7. It is mandatory for the selected candidates to submit the police verification form at the time of enrollment.

Following is the procedure to apply for Sports Quota Recruitment in Indian Army:

• The applicant has to first print the application form given at the end of the notification on A4 paper.
• Fill the application form completely and with correct information including signature, thumb impression and photograph.
• Self-attested copies of educational qualification (like 10th/12th mark sheet) and sports achievements certificates should be attached with the application.
• Send the application form along with all required documents to the official address by Registered Post only. Please note that ‘Speed Post’ will not be accepted.
