IBPS PO Recruitment 2026: How to Apply
- First of all go to the official website of IBPS www.ibps.in.
- Click on the “CRP PO/MT” link appearing on the home page and then select the link “Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees XVI”.
- If you’re applying for the first time, click the “Click here for New Registration” button. Enter your name, contact details, and email address. You will then receive a registration number and password.
- Login with your registration number and password and fill in your educational qualification, personal information and other details carefully.
- Scan and upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per instructions given in the notification.
- Before final submission, check all the details thoroughly once, as it will be difficult to make changes later.
- Pay the application fee through online mode (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking) by clicking on the ‘Payment’ tab.
- After successful payment, take a printout of your application form or save it as PDF for future reference.
Can final year graduation students apply?
No, as per the official notification, you must have Graduation degree mark sheet or certificate by 21st July 2026 (last date of registration).
Is there negative marking in the exam?
Yes, there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers in both the preliminary and main exams. Therefore, answer the questions carefully.
Can I apply more than once?
No, you can only apply once. If you apply more than once, only the last one will be valid and all previous applications will be cancelled.
Is there any minimum percentage prescribed for this exam?
According to the notification, there is no minimum percentage requirement at the graduate level. If you are a graduate, you are eligible to apply.
How to edit the form after application?
During the registration process, you can make changes to certain limited information through the ‘Edit Window.’ This feature is available for a period of two days after the registration closes. For this you may have to pay a separate fee of ₹200.
