Rajasthan CET 10+2 Level Notification Out 2026: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released the detailed advertisement for Common Eligibility Test (CET) Senior Secondary Level-2026. Through this examination, eligibility for recruitment to various subordinate and clerical services posts including Forest Guard, Hostel Superintendent, Constable, Clerk Grade-II and Junior Assistant will be determined. Rajasthan CET 10+2 Level Notification Out 2026: Age Limit
- Minimum and Maximum Age: The applicant must have completed minimum 18 years of age and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st January 2027.
Age Relaxation for Special Categories:
- Female candidates of general category will be given 5 years relaxation.
- Male candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Most Backward Class (MBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) who are permanent residents of Rajasthan will be given 5 years relaxation.
- Female candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MBC and EWS category who are permanent residents of Rajasthan will be given a relaxation of 10 years.
- Disabled candidates will be given an additional relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit.
- There is no upper age limit in case of widows and divorced women, provided their age is below the retirement age fixed by the State Government.
- There is a provision of 15 years relaxation in the maximum age limit for ex-servicemen, but even after relaxation the age should not exceed 50 years (55 years in some cases).

Rajasthan CET 10+2 Level Notification Out 2026: Selection Process
- Eligibility Test: The Common Eligibility Test (CET) is merely an eligibility test. Merely scoring a score does not guarantee a job.
- Main Recruitment Examination: For recruitment to the combined posts, a separate Main Recruitment Examination (written examination or interview or both) will be conducted as per departmental rules.
- Basis of Selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit as per category wise vacant posts.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: It is mandatory to obtain minimum 40 percent marks in the common eligibility test. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) will get 5 percent relaxation in this.
- Validity of Score: The score of the examination will be valid for three years from the date of result.
- Score Improvement: Candidates can re-appear for improving their score, and the best valid score before recruitment will be counted.
Rajasthan CET 10+2 Level Notification Out 2026: How to Apply
- Mode of Application: The applications will be accepted by the Board through ‘Online Application Form’ only. These can be filled through state authorised e-Mitra kiosks, Common Service Centres (CSCs) or by yourself.
- Login to SSO Portal: Candidates must first login to http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in. After this, select ‘Recruitment Portal’ available in ‘Citizen Apps (G2C)’ and click on ‘Apply Now’.
- One Time Registration (OTR): If the candidate has not already deposited the OTR fee, So they have to pay the prescribed fee by entering their category (UR/Reserved), disability status and home state details.
- Filling the Application: After completing the OTR process, candidates will be able to apply through their SSO ID. Visible body marks are mandatory in the application form.
- Document Upload: As per the rules of the recruitment notification, educational qualification related documents have to be uploaded in the ‘Document Details’ section.
- Photograph and Signature: Live photograph, signature (Hindi & English) and thumb impression of the candidate in the application will be auto-fetched from OTR. It is essential to follow specific guidelines for Live Photos (e.g., adequate lighting, no glasses).
- Final Submission: After ‘Final Submission’ of the application form, an ‘Application ID’ will be generated, which the candidate should keep safe for future reference. If the application form number is not received, it means that the application has not been accepted.

Does passing the Common Eligibility Test (CET) guarantee a job?
No, the CET is only an eligibility test. Taking the exam or scoring a score does not guarantee a job. For main recruitment, a separate written examination or interview will be conducted as per the relevant service rules, clearing of which is mandatory.
Will the earlier CET-2024 score be valid?
No, the validity of the previous Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level)-2024 score has expired on 16 February 2026.Therefore, candidates with old scores will have to apply again.
What are the instructions for uploading the photo for the application?
Candidates have to capture live photo in OTR (One Time Registration), which will automatically appear on the application form. The photo must be clear, taken against a well-lit background, and the applicant must not be wearing dark glasses or sunglasses.
What is the minimum number of marks required to be scored in the exam?
To be selected for the posts included in the Common Eligibility Test, it is mandatory for the candidates to obtain a minimum of 40 percent marks. However, candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) have been given a relaxation of 5 percent.
Is the facility for correction in the application available?
Yes, even after the last date of application, candidates can make changes in the online application by paying the prescribed fee (Rs. 300). However, candidates will not be able to modify details like their name, father’s name, date of birth, photo and signature.
